Who’s behind FoxglovesFlowers.com, the website
FoxglovesFlowers.com was re-born in early 2007, and then again re-vamped in 2012 with the help of Brandon Devnich. Brandon (also known as Colleen’s other half) is one of the principals of Lucky Marble Solutions Corp, a web applications and software development company in Victoria, BC.
About Lucky Marble
Lucky Marble is a small company specializing in website templates. These application specific web templates are designed to be easily updated by the average user with prior limited knowledge of web development. Lucky Marble operates a number of websites, most notably i3dthemes.com which is their general storefront for website templates.
Started in one of the owner’s “storage room” in 2001, Lucky Marble has since grown and moved three times to accommodate a growing staff and business needs. While typically Lucky Marble does not have clients locally (simply due to the nature of the internet), occasionally they will take on a client such as Foxgloves as a favour — most business is done online, worldwide, to over 40 countries.
Website Templates
A website template is a package of pre-designed web pages with a pre-fabricated look and feel. Generally speaking, they normally require some sort of web editor application such as Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe Dreamweaver, or Microsoft Expression Web.
Purchasing a web template can save thousands of dollars in web development. A standard website, if built from scratch as a custom project, can run anywhere from $1000 to $10,000 or more, depending upon the needs of the client.
Websites templates, from Lucky Marble, start at about $39 CAD. Some of the advanced web applications are only $150 including the website design– a great deal! Just like all items pre-built, there are some limitations to buying a website template, however any drawbacks are small in comparison to the time and money you save.
