On this gorgeous day we were taken out to Metchosin to work on a wedding day shoot taking place on Bilston Creek Farm. This twelve acre farm was one of the first properties in what would become British Columbia — talk about history! Today, this historic property offers a truly unique backdrop for wedding venues, retreats and events. Inspired by the natural beauty around it, and entwined with the activity of life on the farm. It’s where 170 year old apple trees grow alongside fields of lavender, where you can discover the same wild beauty that’s drawn people there.
The soft pinks, oranges and peach colours of the florals tied right in with the romantic backdrop of the farm. The perfect location for a romantic french inspired wedding shoot.
