We Started a Newsletter!

Exciting News!

We have finally decided to create a newsletter to keep you guys up to date on all the happenings around the farm and flower studio! I know, about time right?

We try and keep you guys up to date on social media but it has come to our attention that some of you are not on social media!!? So in order to keep things fair across the board we now have a short little email newsletter that will pop into your inbox from time to time. My goal is not to annoy, or bombard you with useless emails. Nor be sales-y. More to educate, inspire and inform you guys of what is blooming seasonally, fun garden projects to try, inspiring weddings and events that we have been lucky enough to be a part of, early bird discounts for pre booking holiday flowers and so much more!

Stunning Wedding Shoot at The Fairmont Empress Hotel

If you live in Victoria, BC then most likely you have visited the famous Fairmont Empress hotel. Or at least driven by it on many occasions while driving through downtown. The historical hotel, as well as the parliament building steps, was the venue for this beautiful shoot we did for KnotsVilla.com.

Take in the details of the most exquisite bridal gown that paired beautifully with the array of fresh blooms for the bouquets and arrangements for the shoot. If this shoot doesn’t give you mega inspiration for a wedding fit for royalty, I don’t know what will!

Maple Bay Autumn Style Shoot

This autumn shoot was inspired by the rich beautiful colours that we are surrounded by on Vancouver Island during fall time. The shoot took place all outdoors in the natural elements with the natural beauty surrounding us. The venue, Maple Bay Manor was the perfect backdrop with forest, dock areas and luscious lawns to use.

We used natural elements in all the florals that we designed, which included roses and calla lily as well as lots of greenery to tie everything beautifully together.

Whimsical Boho Wedding Style Shoot

Nothing reminds you more of fall than jewel tone florals, rich textures and lush green fields. That was the inspiration behind this boho wedding style shoot. Different botanical textures, lush organic materials and a variety of colours were used for the florals of the bouquet, decor and cake decorations.

The autumn months are coming and this shoot is just a small reminder of all the gorgeous colours and that we get to look forward to at this time of year as the seasons change. Rich, and whimsical bohemian style has our hearts swooning!
